At Encounter, we see the development of servant-hearted leaders as foundational to our ability to grow our ministry in the community. We want everyone – our regular Sunday attenders, youth group members, small group members and volunteers –  to have the opportunity to develop and serve  using the gifts God has given them.

This year we begin the Journey – a seminar series for anyone who is actively looking to grow and apply their faith in their daily lives.

Our goals for these session include:

  • Give you access to a variety of leaders through interactive discussion groups

  • Give you opportunities for mentored relationships with current leaders

  • Help you find your ministry niche

  • An interactive small group for discussion of seminar topics

  • Regular prayer for our congregation and its future leaders.

We want to grow the next generation to actively apply faith in every aspect of their lives.

Session are held at 9:30 a.m. in the library of Harlan Rowe Middle School, just down the hall from our worship center. Of course, it would be great if you could attend them all, but you're welcome to visit one or as many as you would like. This year, we have a great line-up of sessions that will get you thinking about your Journey
