What Could happen
If Hope Is Unhindered?
The vision of Encounter Church is to give, love, and serve in Jesus’ name to see our community transformed one person at a time. We believe that for transformation to happen and the hope of Jesus to be given, we need to be known as being for people, because Jesus is for them, too.
Encounter Changes Lives
The vision of Hope Unhindered at Encounter is more than just a building – it's way better than that. When Jesus' hope is unhindered, it changes lives, like those of Sarah and Anthony Brackel and their family. The Brackel's testimony shows us what God can do – and why we are called to be His hands and feet in the Valley.
What we need
We need to build or remodel an existing structure that will not only serve our needs today, but for generations to come. A facility that will be viewed by the community as a source of light, hope and help. We envision the building as a home for greater impact in God’s Kingdom, not the end goal itself.
Do we have obstacles in stepping into this pursuit? Absolutely! We don’t have property or a building right now. We want to be financially secure and ready when the opportunity presents itself according to God’s timing. We’ve been saving diligently since 2013, but now it’s time to kick that up. The campaign goal is $500,000 over the next two years.
Pray boldly about: • how God can use you to see this vision accomplished;• what God wants to do in reaching those who don’t know him yet;• taking a big step of faith toward this God-sized vision which will change the landscape of our community
